DEPARTMENT: Office of the Registrar          

POSITION SUMMARY: The Coordinator for Administrative Services will provide secretarial and administrative support to various functional areas within the office of the University Registrar and Graduate School. This individual will be responsible for giving excellent customer service, while handling individual job duties in a customer service environment that serves students, faculty and staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Coordinator, Administrative Services will assist in the communication with students, faculty and staff regarding the graduation process and general operations of the Registrar's Office. This person will participate in the graduation process from verification of information, appropriate diploma designation, verify that all requirements are met and ensure accurate maintenance of excel files relating to graduation.

Additionally this person will be responsible for providing clerical/administrative support, including composition, editing and preparation of routine correspondence, provide clear and concise dissemination of information regarding academic policy and procedures to students, faculty and staff, provide academic record anaylsis for admissions and records areas and assist in the formulation of credential analyses relative to graduate admissions. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree. Excellent in-person customer service skills as well as communication, interpersonal, written and verbal skills. Ability to multi-task. Strong computer skills with proficiency in Windows including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) including use of e-mail. Must be comfortable communicating with both administrators and staff in the Registrar and Graduate School and other university offices and attention to detail.     

SALARY: Commensurate with education and experience
