Post-doctoral Research Fellow

POSITION SUMMARY: Post-doctoral researcher will be involved in research in the Stress Physiology in Teens (SPIT) lab working with primary data collection, preparation of manuscripts, analysis of data, and presentation of data. The researcher will coordinate and organize multiple beta-sites for a study on biomarkers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

25%: Prepare manuscripts and write-ups for publication and dissemination. Provide Dr. Shirtcliff with data analytic assistance.

50%: Coordinate and organize data collection at UNO for federally-funded study on biomarkers. Manage and coordinate data collection, analysis and writeup of beta-sites for biomarker collection.

25%: supervise undergraduate research assistants and partially supervise graduate students.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: PHD in psychology or related field. Experience working with psychological datasets and SPSS statistical program.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with biomarkers, neuroscience. Experience publishing in peer-reviewed data outlets and in writing and receiving federal grants.

SALARY: Commensurate with experience and education.
