Application Support & Training - Supervisor

DEPARTMENT: DHH Technical Services Contract – Application Support & Training


Assist agency in development/updating of training and planning for system implementation.Manage agency Learning Management Systems.Assist the agency in conducting needs assessment/consultation for training and staff development.

Evaluate and implement appropriate information technology and develop long range plans for the most effective use of multimedia learning.Manage and report on all daily activities within the Training Unit.Review and approve the development of training materials (user guides, videos, Power Point presentations, etc.).Assist in the development of standards, procedures, and best practices, including internal department documentation, to ensure efficient and effective division operations.Develop long and short range plans for staff organization, training, and equipment needs.Conduct an annual performance evaluation for each subordinate, setting future goals and strategies.Conduct recruitment, selection, training, supervision, and professional development of assigned staff.


Bachelor's degree.Minimum 2 years of professional experience with technical training or content development.Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.Experience in PC‐based learning systems.Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills.Great attention to detail and follow up, and verbal/written communications skills.


Advanced degree.Minimum 3 years of professional experience with technical training or content development.Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.Professional experience with DHH information systems or programs utilized by the department.

SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
