Director of Institutional Research and Data Management


DEPARTMENT: Academic Affairs

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Director will manage the office of Institutional Research and Data Management to support the University's short and long term strategic goals that include the enhancement of forecast modeling, statistical and trends analysis, and evaluations and improvement of current processes, procedures and policies; work with senior level administrators and Deans to assist in data management and projections; coordinate the collection of an institutional data set; assist with institutional planning and assessment; design and oversee internal and external surveys and reports; assist with self-study projects related to SACS reaccreditation reviews; manage the budget and personnel of the office and manage GRAD ACT reporting requirements.

Conduct primary research on student and other constituent's needs and attitudes and produce reports accordingly.  


Required: Master's degree in data management or related field. Five years of experience in a related discipline in higher education such as planning, research or analysis as well as managerial experience; direct experience in forecast modeling, logistic and multiple regression analysis. Knowledge of software programs and Peoplesoft.

Desired: Doctoral degree, institutional research experience

SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
