POSITION SUMMARY: The Department of Computer Science at the University of Orleans invites applications for a Research Software Engineer (RSE) position.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will be expected to develop geospatial web services, interact with funding agencies and generate progress/final reports.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors of Sciences (B.S.) or Bachelors of Arts (B.A.), experience with geospatial web services and JavaScripts.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: M.S. Degree in Computer Science, experience with large-scale geospatial information systems design and development and graphic and layout design of web pages.

SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
