POSITION SUMMARY

Teach three courses during each semester. Management of the HRT Building, including, but not limited to: Offices Spaces, Classrooms, Dining Rooms and Demo Kitchen/Kitchen/Beverage Lab.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Teach 4 courses during the semester: HRT 2030 -Food Production Theory & Practice, which includes the supervision of students during production HRT 3145-Layout & Design of a Hospitality Facility HRT 3141- Management of Beverage Service HRT 4290- Special Topics in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Administration- Advance Food Production or other advanced trending culinary topics. Other courses as needed. Management of the HRT Lab: Responsible for insuring the Lab passes all vital inspections. Purchasing of all supplies. Securing HRT Lab. Sanitizing HRT Lab. Scheduling events. Inventory control. Ordering of linen and contract supplies. Maintenance of equipment. Record keeping and office management. Additional events at the request of the School and University. Organize Luncheon and dinner events: Menu planning. Recipe testing. Decor and decoration, ticket printing, and sales.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Associates degree in Culinary Arts. 2 years of professional kitchen experience.


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

3 years of professional kitchen experience.

Commensurate with qualifications and experience
