11th Annual International Photo Contest

Do you have an eye for photographing stunning moments? Use your talent to enter the Division of International Education's 11th annual international-themed photo contest!

Past entries have depicted moments from around the world as well as life at UNO viewed through an international lens. This year's judges include two UNO Professors Tony Campbell, and Ariya Martin, and the owner of Studio U, Tracie Schaefer. Three awards will be given at the Photo Contest Awards Ceremony November 16th.

How to Enter

  1. Carefully read Submission Guidelines
  2. Fill out the online submission form
  3. Make sure your image file titles match the titles on your submission form
  4. Email up to 3 low-resolution, web quality images to isp@uno.edu. Images must be in .jpeg format and 300 dpi resolution.
  5. If your image is chosen as a contest finalist, images may be submitted on high-resolution by e-mailed to isp@uno.edu or hand deliver on a hard drive to International Center 124 by 12:00pm on Wednesday, November 8.

Submission Guidelines

  1. All entries must include a completed online submission form.
  2. Titles on the online submission form must match titles of images submitted.
  3. Original images may not be larger than 8 X 10.
  4. Division of International Education employees and any of the contest sponsors are not eligible to enter the contest.

Photo Contest Awards

Jurors will select 10-15 finalist photos from general submission. Notice of finalist status will be sent out via email by November 6, 2017. Finalist images will be displayed in the International Center the week of International Education Week, November 13 - 17, 2017. The Division of International Education reserves the right to use the submitted images in their promotional material.
