International Students
The University of New Orleans currently hosts around 600 international students, faculty, and staff from about 90 countries. On-campus housing is available for international students, and provides a comfortable environment for meeting new people from around the world.
The Office of International Students and Scholars provides comprehensive immigration advising, programming, and support services to all international students and faculty and their dependents. OISS works with faculty and administrators to build friendship agreements with foreign universities, and assist international student organizations in planning activities such as International Night and cultural tea hours.
The Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) provides guidance and support for the international community at UNO. Here is a sampling of information within the OISS site which offers a wealth of information and resources for students planning to study in New Orleans.
