New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival - The last weekend in April and the first weekend in May of each year since 1970 local, national and international musicians have been welcomed to multiple stages at the New Orleans Fairgrounds, less than 4 miles from the Lakefront Campus.
Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival - Enjoy a five day celebration of arts and letters dedicated to the playwright who called New Orleans his "spiritual home". Events include panel discussions, theatrical performances, a one-act play competition, lectures, literary walking tours, musical performances, and a bookfair.
