Friday, August 12

New Student Move-in Day and Welcome Cookout

(Pontchartrain Hall) (9am to 7pm)

New Student Move-In Day marks one of the biggest the days of the year at UNO. The annual event is designed to bring new students, their parents, faculty, staff and administrators together, while warmly welcoming newcomers to campus. We will have volunteers present to assist carrying in boxes, luggage, mini fridges, etc. There will also be a cookout at 5:30 pm in the Pontchartrain Hall courtyard. All new students are invited to participate even if they are not living on campus. This event is sponsored by the Office of Student Involvement & Leadership, Office of Enrollment Services, and Office of Student Housing.

Monday, August 15

Meet SJP at UNO!

(Library Breezeway) (10am to 2pm)

Come by our table for baked goods and information about how you can get involved with one of UNO’s most active student orgs for social justice! Students for Justice in Palestine works in solidarity with the Palestinian people and supports their rights. Come check out our table to learn more! This event is sponsored by Students for Justice in Palestine.

Greek Ice Cream Social

Meet the Greeks for a sweet treat! Come meet the fraternities and sororities while enjoying ice cream and get to know what each fraternity and sorority has to offer! Representatives from IFC, NPHC, and PHC will be present. All welcome! This event is sponsored by Greek Life.
