Federal Work-Study:
This is a federally funded program that provides full-time and part-time employment (on and off campus) to undergraduate and graduate students while enrolled in school. FWS allows students to earn money to help pay educational expenses and gain valuable experience in their chosen fields before leaving school. Students must demonstrate financial need.
Budget Work-Study:
This is funded by the University (department student wage budget) to students for on and off campus jobs to work within various UNO departments.
Community Service Work-Study:
This is a federally funded program that pays wages to eligible students who are employed in community service jobs as reading and/or mathematics tutors. Employing students in these positions helps serve the needs of the community and gives the student an enriching and rewarding experience. Students must demonstrate financial need.
