Office of Facility Services

The Office of Facility Services supports the mission of the University of New Orleans by maintaining and enhancing buildings, grounds and infrastructure in a cost-effective, safe and environmentally responsible manner. We provide and improve facilities and related services for our customers – the students, faculty, staff and visitors – in support of the UNO's teaching mission and Strategic Plan. Our values, philosophy and work ethic are the foundation of the diverse yet united workforce, which supplies our customers with quality service.

We are responsible for theoperation and maintenance of over 40 buildings, which includes classrooms, offices, laboratories and a multi-purpose arena. Facility Services consists of several distinct departments: Building Services, Capital Planning & Construction, Design & Renovations, Energy Services, Finance and Administration, and Facility Maintenance. Ancillary responsibilities include ensuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Life Safety Codes and Environmental Safety.
