  • Bill Loehfelm's most recent novel, The Devil She Knows, was released May 24, 2011.
  • Barb Johnson's collection of short stories, More of This World or Maybe Another is the 2011 winner of the American Library Association's Barbara Gittings Literature Award.
  • Jed Horne was appointed senior consultant to Obama's National Oil Spill Commission and contributed a history of oil exploration in the Gulf of Mexico to its report.
  • John Gery and Kay Murphy have poems in the Maple Leaf Rag, Volume IV, a collection of poetry by New Orleans poets published by Portals Press.
  • Rick Barton's collection of essays, Rowing to Sweden is out! It's his first book of nonfiction and includes essays about faith, love, politics and movies.
  • Randy Bates has a new essay, "Reserve," in the Fall issue of The Pinch.
  • Amanda Boyden's second novel, Babylon Rolling (2008) is now available in paperback as well as hardback.
