Physics Tutoring Center

The Physics Tutoring Center is a free service for UNO students. Teaching assistants are available to provide one-on-one or small group tutoring. Students are always welcome to stop by today if you have any questions!

The Department of Physics has been an integral part of the undergraduate and graduate curriculum at the University of New Orleans. Students will have the opportunity to work with award-winning faculty, participate in exciting interdisciplinary research, and receive a high-quality, broadly-based education.


The Department of Physics at the University of New Orleans offers a B.S. in Physics, an M.S. in Applied Physics and an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Engineering and Applied Science.

In addition to the core physics curriculum, the department also offers several courses for non-majors including astronomy, conceptual physical science and the physics of music.
