Admission Requirements

The main requirements for entering graduate programs in EES are meeting the GRE (300 combined score), GPA criteria (3.0), and finding an EES Faculty member who will agree to be your advisor prior to being accepted into the Department. Non-thesis degrees are not offered.

How to Apply

1. Apply online to the University
An official application to the University is required. Please read the application instructions.

Forward all transcripts to the Office of Admissions.

Funding and Scholarships

The University provides funding to graduate students in the following forms: Tuition Scholarships, Out-of-State Fee Scholarships, Graduate Assistantships, Student Worker Positions and Financial Aid.

Funding within the department is also available. This type of funding is competitive and is in the form of teaching assistantships (TA), or research assistantships (RA). RAs are typically funded through extramural funding sources secured by individual faculty in their field of expertise.
