Undergraduate Program

Undergraduates in labThe Department of Biological Sciences offers outstanding training in many areas of the biological sciences. We provide a firm grounding in the natural sciences with diverse course offerings and research training opportunities in molecular genetics, biochemistry, physiology, cell biology, ecology, evolution, and conservation biology. With this superb training, our graduates are well prepared for admission to graduate and professional schools or to enter the workforce. Many of our students gain admission to medical schools and the allied health sciences as well as Ph.D. programs in the biological sciences.
