Financial Support for Graduate Students

Graduate Assistantships

The department endeavors to provide stipend and tuition support to all accepted students. The most common form of support is a graduate assistantship, for either teaching or research duties performed in the department. Teaching assistants generally assist with the instruction of freshman or sophomore undergraduate labs, whereas research assistants work on projects directed by individual faculty.
