Areas of Specialization: American Political Behavior and Institutions, Public Policy, Political Gerontology, and Women and Politics

Dr. Day is author of What Older Americans Think: Interest Groups and Aging Policy, and co-author of Women's PACs: Abortion and Elections. Her research has appeared in the American Politics Quarterly, Journal of Politics, Research on Aging, Women and Politics, Social Science Quarterly, and in edited books. She won the university-wide Early Career Achievement Award for Excellence in Research in 1993.

Dr. Day’s current research interests include interest groups, women and politics, and political gerontology.
