Our graduates have recently landed nationally at the SXSW Festival, Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and locally at the New Orleans Opera Association, the New Orleans Museum of Art, the Greater New Orleans Foundation, the Southern Food and Beverage Museum and the WWII Museum – to name just a few.

Founded in 1983 and located in one of America’s most culture-rich urban environments, the UNO Arts Administration Program is ranked among the finest such programs in the United States, preparing students from throughout the world to lead in the increasingly professionalized field of arts management. 

Arts Administration

The Arts Administration Program at the University of New Orleans is fully accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (COC-SACS) and is a member of the Association of Arts Administration Educators (AAAE).

The Program offers a Master of Arts in Arts Administration , a non-credit Certificate for Performing Arts Executives, and selected undergraduate courses.

Led by Program Director Harmon Greenblatt, the Arts Administration Program at University of New Orleans is part of the College of Liberal Arts. The Program, "plays an integral role in the fabric of Louisiana culture and is unique in the state and region”, says Tony Micocci, Assistant Director of the Program.
