You don't have to be a senior to enjoy Senior Week!

Three wonderful events await graduating seniors to help celebrate their achievements at UNO and everything their futures hold. Senior Week begins with the Alumni & Senior Social, which runs from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 15 at the Bulldog Mid-City, 5135 Canal Blvd. The class of 2012 is invited to network with alumni and enjoy complimentary drinks and appetizers.

The Alumni Resume Review Panel helps seniors put the finishing touches on their real-world career preparations. Students are invited to drop in any time between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16, in the Homer L. Hitt Alumni & Visitors Center Morris Bart Board Room when professionals from each college will be on hand to provide personalized tips and tricks for landing that dream job. Finally, seniors are invited to toast their success with bubbly mimosas at the Brunch & Bubbles Reception, at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 17 in the Homer L. Hitt Alumni & Visitors Center Geoghegan Ballroom. Hosted by the Interim Dean of Student affairs, this event is the perfect time to reflect on fond memories while making new ones. It’s also a chance to ask any last-minute graduation questions before the big day.

Seniors, Please RSVP for Brunch & Bubbles only by emailing your name and phone number to: studentaffairs@uno.edu.

UNO M.F.A. students and Instructor exhibiting at HomeSpace Gallery in St. Claude

Structure for Landscape: Exploring the Built Environment, curated by M.F.A. student Maria Levitsky, opens at 6 p.m. this Saturday, May 12, at HomeSpace Gallery, 1128 St. Roch Ave. The show features the work of M.F.A. candidates Daniel Kelly and Maria Levitsky and instructor Jeff Rinehart. In all, it is a multi-media group show featuring seven visual artists, two architects and one sound artist, who all play upon multiple facets of the built environment. The gallery is open noon to 5 p.m. Saturday - Sunday. The show is up through June 2.
