About the Department

Please Note  

As of the Fall Semester 2016, the Department of Special Education and Habilitative Services and the Department of Curriculum and Instruction have merged into a single department.  Offices for the new Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Special Education (CISE) are now located in Suite 342 of the Bicentennial Education Building.

NCATE Standards

All programs within the department are performance-based and are fully aligned with National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) standards.
