Educational Leadership, Counseling,
and Foundations

The programs in the Department of Educational Leadership, Foundations, and Counseling (ELCF) focus on the preparation of professionals who will address the needs of the community and of educational institutions in Southeast Louisiana, especially the metropolitan New Orleans area. These programs include the preparation of licensed professional counselors and counselor educators who will provide mental health services in these communities. There are no undergraduate programs in this department.

The Department offers the following graduate degree programs:

• Educational Administration (M.Ed. and Ph.D.) 
• Counselor Education (M.Ed. and Ph.D.)
