University of New Orleans special education professor Linda Flynn-Wilson has received a 5-year $1.2 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education to train educators to work with young children with disabilities.

Dean Darrell P. Kruger Receives National Geographic Society Certificate of Appreciation Award

Dr. Darrell P. Kruger, Dean of the College of Education and Human Development (COEHD) recently received the Certificate of Appreciation Award from the National Geographic Society. Kruger was recognized for more than 15 years’ service in promoting grassroots geography education in the K-16 environment in both Illinois and Louisiana.
