Dr. KrugerDean Darrell P. Kruger Receives National Geographic Society Certificate of Appreciation Award

Dr. Darrell P. Kruger, Dean of the College of Education and Human Development (COEHD) recently received the Certificate of Appreciation Award from the National Geographic Society. He is as a geographer and anthropologist. Kruger was recognized for more than 15 years’ service in promoting grassroots geography education in the K-16 environment in both Illinois and Louisiana.

 

Cirecie West-OlatunjiCounselor Education Graduate Assumes Presidency of the American Counseling Association

Dr. Cirecie West-Olatunji, a graduate of the COEHD's masters and doctoral programs in Counseling and Counselor Education, is currently serving as the President of the American Counseling Association (ACA).
