FOOTNOTES:

1  The individual project (ENME 6095) should be utilized to complete a project that is suitable for presentation as the Final Examination Oral.

2  ENCE 6353 - Advanced Mechanics of Materials is acceptable as an ENME Course.

3  Other electives may be chosen from CE, EE, NAME, MATH and Science. These non-ME electives must be approved by the Major Professor of the student.

To the Student: "Thesis" option students should begin work on their thesis as soon as possible. If a student is supported as a research assistant for 12 credit hours, or more, he/she must take the "Thesis" option. However, if the student has taken 24 credit hours, or more, and 18 months have passed since his/her initial enrollment, he/she may switch to the "Non-thesis" option and may change major professor if desired.
