Requirements for Admissions

Candidates must meeting following requirements in order to be admitted into the program.

• Meet the general UNO criteria for admission to graduate school (including a minimum 2.5 undergraduate GPA or 3.0 graduate GPA).
• Have a minimum GRE score (verbal and quantitative) of 1100 (revised GRE score of approximately 300). For International students, a minimum total band score for the IELTS is 6.5 or composite TOEFL scores of at least 79 on the iBT (internet based) or 550 (paper-based) is required.
• Possess an undergraduate degree in engineering. Students without an engineering degree must complete a core foundation of general engineering studies and all prerequisites to these courses, or pass equivalent credit examinations.
