Welcome to the Exciting Field of Marketing

The Department of Management and Marketing at the University of New Orleans offers a Bachelor Degree in Marketing, an Undergraduate Minor in Marketing and supports a Marketing Concentration within the MBA program.

A student can pursue the Marketing Degree Program on either a full-time basis or a part-time basis. Since many of our students work full-time, many courses are offered in the evening and online. For the convenience of some of our students, courses are not just offered at our Lakefront Campus, but at various other campus locations, such as the Jefferson Center.

The Department consists of full-time doctoral-qualified faculty and a few part-time adjunct faculty all devoted to providing the best possible educational environment for our students. Typically, our faculty receive high student evaluations. The faculty are continuously looking for ways to improve the learning environment for our students.

The Marketing Degree Program curriculum consists of a minimum of 128 credit hours. This consists of 30 hours of marketing courses, 45 hours of other business courses, and 53 hours of courses from other UNO colleges.

In addition to our academic strengths, our Student Chapter of the American Marketing Association is one of the most active, and most recognized student organizations on campus. The Chapter meets monthly and allows students the opportunity to hear from and network with industry experts.
