Accounting Internships

Internships continue to be a win-win experience for the firms and the students. The firms are able to obtain part-time staff and a first look at a possible candidate for full time employment. The students obtain “real world” experience working 150 hours in a professional environment, three hours of college credit, and a foot in the door to possible full-time employment.

The maximum total internship credit is six hours, of which only 3 hours of credit may be applied towards a Bachelors degree in Accounting. A GPA of 2.5 overall and a 2.2 in Accounting and Intermediate Accounting II (ACCT 3122) are required.
