Career Compass Job Posting System

Career Services utilizes the CSO software system - the Career Compass - that automates the entire career connection process for student and employer profiles, resume uploads, job postings, and internships/apprenticeship/cooperative experiences.

General Instructions:

Career Profile

By using the database, students are able to develop a profile reflecting their academic and student involvement information, skill sets, goals, and industry interests. Students need to update their profile each semester regarding their current GPA, classification, change of major, contact information, and any other changes.

Part-time/Temporary candidate with no resume uploaded will only be able to view and search for part-time and temporary positions and jobs.

A Professional candidate (CIF - Career Internship Fulltime) with an uploaded resume will be able to view and search for the spectrum of career opportunities.

Job Postings

To search the job postings, simply click on the tab labeled "Jobs." As a reminder, this is a search engine. The results will depend on the selections made and what data elements the employer tagged in the job posting.

Documents

Students will upload a professional resume. Resumes will be reviewed online by the Career Services staff, with feedback given. Please see the below hyperlink of the Resume Rubric. Resumes are available to be sent electronically to employers in response to job postings, if the student allows permission for "Employer Viewing," and/or digitally drops - "Request Interview" - through a Qualified Schedule.
