The University of New Orleans is gearing up for the Week of Welcome, a week of events designed to embrace and celebrate all of our students and especially those who are new to campus.
The Student Government Association together with Student Affairs, Student Involvement and Leadership, Student Housing, Aramark and the Service Coalition have put together a great line-up of activities to mark what University of New Orleans President John Nicklow called “one of the most exciting times of the entire year.”
"We are thrilled to welcome our returning students back to campus and we are excited to be joined by our new students,” Nicklow said. “We think this Week of Welcome will be a great way for students to get the school year off to a fun and engaging start."
The activities launch on New Student Move-In Day at Pontchartrain Hall on Aug. 12 and continue in advance of the first day of classes, which start, Wednesday, Aug. 16.
