The UNO-St. Claude Gallery, in collaboration with Good Company Theatre, will host a reading of the play “Diamond Dust” by Claire Bernstein. The special event takes place Saturday, July 22 from 6-9 p.m. with a small reception to follow. Diane Baas of the University of New Orleans Department of Film and Theatre faculty serves as lighting designer, and UNO Master of Fine Arts alumna Daphne Loney has created visual elements to complement the reading set. Eleanor Bernstein directs, and Rebecca Frank serves as artistic director.
“Diamond Dust” author Claire Bernstein is an actress and writer from Boulder, Colo. She is a recent graduate of the Bachelor of Fine Arts acting program at Ithaca College in New York.
The gallery is located at 2429 St. Claude Ave. Tickets are available on a sliding scale of $5-10 at the door.
