Television soundtrack composer Jonathan Wolff, responsible for the iconic slap and snap of the theme to “Seinfeld” and a host of other memorable shows, will speak Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 12:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center Room 318 on the University of New Orleans campus. This lecture is free and open to the public. Wolff will discuss his career and compositions and answer audience questions.
Although best known for composing the “Seinfeld” theme song and soundtracks, Wolff’s body of work includes 43 additional television theme songs and compositions for 75 prime time television series. Some of his work appears on major network television shows such as “Will & Grace,” “Who’s the Boss?,” and “King of Queens.”
