More than 70 Employers Available to UNO Students at Fall Career Expo on Oct. 8

To Register: 

University of New Orleans students and alumni seeking internships and full-time employment should plan to attend New Orleans' citywide Fall Career Expo 2015, Thursday, Oct. 8, from noon to 4 the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

Juniors, seniors, graduate students and alumni are encouraged to register now for the event, which should draw more than 70 local and national companies.

These employers are seeking candidates who are pursuing or who hold a college degree. This is not a place to find part-time work.

To register, go to, click Student Registration/Login. Then, select "Career Events," "Search" and "Fall Career Expo 2015." Then, click "Register for Event."

Parking at the Superdome is not free, but students are encouraged to take the free shuttle from UNO's campus. Pick-up times from UNO are 11 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. The last shuttle back to campus from the Superdome will leave at 4:15 p.m.

The Fall Career Expo is sponsored by Entergy, Globalstart, Daniel Morgan Academy, Yelp and Ports America, and is hosted by the career services offices at UNO, Dillard University, Loyola University, Xavier University and Tulane University.
