Important Dates

Early Registration for the Fall 2017 semester continues to August 11, 2017 4:30 PM.  After that time, late registration ($150 fee) will open through August 22, 2017 4:30PM.  For the fall we offer four installment payments to extend our payment through the term.

If balance is not paid by August 11th at 4:30 p.m., your class enrollment will be cancelled.

Late registration begins on August 23rd.  If a student enrolls or re-enrolls (from being cancelled) during late registration, the $150 late registration fee will be charged to the student's fee bill.  If a student enrolls or re-enrolls during the late registration period, the student is responsible for dropping all classes if the student does not plan to attend. 

  • Regular classes begin: August 16, 2017 
  • Final date to add classes: August 22, 2017

Holiday

  • Labor Day- Monday, September 4, 2017

 

The final date to receive a full refund (less any non-refundable fees and $50 Administrative fee) for dropped classes or schedule adjustments is August 22, 2017.

After August 22, there are NO REFUNDS FOR DROPPED CLASSES . You must drop all classes and resign (withdraw from the university) in order to receive a refund for any dropped class.

If you drop all classes and resign (withdraw from the university) between August 16-22, a $50 administration fee will be assessed to your student account

The final date to drop course(s) or resign and NOT have course(s) recorded is September 5, 2017.

The final date to resign (withdraw from ALL classes) and have your tuition reduced by 50% (less any non-refundable fees) is September 13, 2017. 

The Fall Extended Payment Plan Option is available for a $50 fee.  The payment plan allows for four payments of 25% of the fall term balance after any financial aid has been applied. If a student is in good financial standing with UNO, they will be able to use the Extended Payment Plan Option (EPPO). The EPPO allows students to pay a minimum of 25 percent of the total balance required by the designated payment deadline to complete registration (Aug 11, 2017 4:30 p.m.). The remaining installments is due Sept 15, Oct 17 & Nov 15 for the fall term.

Final Date to drop course(s) or resign from the University and receive a (W) for full-term course(s) is October 11, 2017. (A fee of $50 per course will be charged to an Undergraduate student receiving a grade of "W" for a class.)
