Important Dates

All fees for the Spring 2016 semester must be paid by January 6, 2016 for early registration and January 19, 2016 for late registration.

If balance is not paid by January 6th at 4:30 p.m., your class schedule will be canceled.

Late registration begins on January 7th.  If a student enrolls or re-enroll from being purged during late registration, the $150 late registration fee will be charged to the student's fee bill.

  • Saturday Classes begin: January 9, 2016
  • Regular classes begin: January 11, 2016
  • Final date to add classes: January 19, 2016


  • Martin Luther King - January 18, 2016
  • Mardi Gras - February 8-9, 2016
  • Spring Break - March 23-26, 2016


The final date to receive a full refund (less any non-refundable fees) for dropped classes or schedule adjustments is January 19, 2016. [Fall Session A Only- January 12th/ Fall Session B Only - March 8th]

After January 19th, there are NO REFUNDS FOR DROPPED CLASSES . You must drop all classes and resign (withdraw from the university) in order to receive a refund for any dropped class.

If you drop all classes and resign (withdraw from the university) between January 11th-19th, a $50 administration fee will be assessed to your student account.

The final date to drop course(s) or resign and NOT have course(s) recorded is January 29, 2016.

The final date to resign (withdraw from ALL classes) and have your tuition reduced by 50% (less any non-refundable fees) is February 10, 2016.  [Fall Session A Only- January 25th /  Fall Session B Only - March 18th]

Extended Payment Plan Option final payment deadline is March 1, 2016

Final Date to drop course(s) or resign from the University and receive a (W) for course(s) is March 9, 2016. (A fee of $50 per course will be charged to an Undergraduate student receiving a grade of "W" for a class.)  [For Fall Session A only- February 10th and For Fall Session B only- April 6th]
