Founded in 1983 and located in one of America’s most culture-rich urban environments, the University of New Orleans Graduate Program in Arts Administration is ranked among the finest such programs in the United States, preparing students from throughout the world to lead in the increasingly professionalized field of arts management. The graduate program in Arts Administration at UNO is fully accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (COC-SACS).
The Program offers two options:
- A Master’s of Arts Administration, encompassing both performing and visual arts management open to aspiring arts management applicants
- A new Certified Performing Arts Executive Certificate (CPAE), designed for practicing professionals in the performing arts management field.
Master’s candidates are post graduates interested not only in the arts but also in business and the non-profit world. Qualified applicants with undergraduate majors in varied disciplines are accepted and welcomed.
UNO’s Master’s training offers the ultimate balance of classroom and real-world experience, reflecting the latest trends in both the performing and visual arts industries.
