Graduate study in arts administration at the University of New Orleans began in 1982. We currently offer a traditional (in residence) master's degree program and a professional certificate -- or Certified Performing Arts Executive (CPAE) -- program; in addition, a low-residency master's program is in development.
Our programs prepare students for administrative careers within arts organizations, among them, galleries, museums, opera organizations, theaters, dance companies, music production, auction houses, film societies, festivals, municipal art programs, art education programs and community art centers.
