This is a tool to estimate the courses you can expect to transfer. If you do not see the school or course you are looking for, it may not be in the database yet. Please contact your admission counselor to check if the course will transfer. Learn more >>

We welcome applications from students in good academic standing from fully accredited two- and four-year schools.

All students transferring to UNO must have at least:
  • 24 semester hours or more of college level coursework (including completed courses in English and Math) and
  • a GPA of 2.25 or higher cumulative GPA as calculated by our Admissions Office.
  • If you have fewer than 24 credit hours, you must also meet the freshman admission requirements.

2. Submit the application fee ($20.00 which is non-refundable)

A non-refundable fee of $20 must be submitted by all new undergraduate students applying for admission. Applications cannot be accepted without the required fee. Please do not send cash through the mail.

3. Send us your official transcripts from each college and university you have attended.

If you are enrolled at another college when you apply, follow up with final records at the close of the semester. Please mail transcripts directly to UNO from your current institution. If the college or university has electronic transcript delivery, please send to transcripts@uno.edu. Read more about sending transcripts to UNO >>

4. Request official ACT/SAT scores

If you have completed fewer than 24 college credit hours, please request official ACT/SAT scores and high school transcript.

5. Provide current course schedule (if available).

Provide a list of current college coursework and grades.

Once all of your official transcripts are received and credits are evaluated, you may view your transfer credit summary in WebStar under Learner Services. The dean of your major college will determine which credits will be accepted towards your UNO degree.
