To be admitted to an Early Admission category you must:
  1. be approved for dual enrollment by your high school
  2. have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 2.5 or better, and
  3. minimum test scores of:
    • 18 English and 19 math on the ACT or PLAN,
    • 450 English and 460 math on the SAT,
    • 45 English and 46 math on the PSAT, or
    • 74 Writing and 40 Algebra on the COMPASS

The Application Process

Applications will not be considered completed until all of the items listed below have been received. All materials must be submitted by the deadlines.

1. Complete Dual Enrollment Program application.

Complete the UNO application and work with the Office of Enrollment Services to make course selections. 


On the Academic Program and Term page, please select the following options:
  • Academic Career: Undergraduate
  • Student Type: High School Dual Enrollment
  • Intended Program of Study: High School-Dual Enrollment
  • Admissions Term: Select that apply to you

2. Send us your official high school transcript.

Official transcript must be signed by the principal or counselor, in a sealed envelope or received electronically from the state. Learn more about sending transcripts to UNO >>

3. Request your ACT/SAT score from the testing agency.

Request your test scores from the testing agency or high school counselor.

4. Fill out the immunization form.

Complete the Immunization Form or Immunization Waiver Form on-line.
Return the completed form directly to Student Health Services (University Center, Room 238).
