To be admitted to an Early Admission category you must:
  1. be recommended for Early Admission by your high school principal
  2. have a GPA of 2.5 or better, and
  3. minimum ACT 18 English and 19 math and minimum OR SAT 450 English and 460 math.

The Application Process

Applications will not be considered completed until all of the items listed below have been received. All materials must be submitted by the deadlines.

1. Complete Dual Enrollment Program application.

Complete UNO application and have your principal or counselor work with the office of admissions on completing your course selections. 

Instructions:

On the Admissions Term and Program, please select the following options:
  • Are you seeking a degree at UNO: No
  • Academic Career: Undergraduate
  • Academic Term: The term and year you are applying for
  • Program: Other Undergraduate
  • Plan: High School-Dual Enrollment
  • Sub-plan: No sub-plan

2. Send us your official high school transcript.

Official transcript must be signed by the principal or counselor, in a sealed envelope. Learn more about sending transcripts to UNO >>

3. Request your ACT/SAT score from the testing agency.

Official scores are required to be sent directly to UNO from the testing agency or your high school.

4. Provide a photocopy of your ACT/SAT scores

Include a photocopy of your ACT/SAT scores with your application.

5. Fill out the immunization form.

Complete the Immunization Form or Immunization Waiver Form on-line.
Return the completed form directly to Student Health Services (University Center, Room 238).
