Financing Your Education

Paying for a college education is a major concern for most students. At the University of New Orleans, you have several options of paying for your college years. The Office of Student Financial Aid (504)280-6603 can help you decide the best way to manage your college expenses. Contact them as early as possible in advance of your enrollment to learn about grants, loans, scholarships, and the college work-study program. Over 68% of UNO students receive some form of financial aid. You may be eligible, too. And the UNO Office of Career Development can help you find part-time employment off-campus.

Once you've registered for class, you may be concerned about paying your fees on time. UNO offers a deferred billing plan to let you budget your payments across the semester. Pay half of your fee bill at registration and the balance in two more payments during the school term.

If you pay your fees in full, you can take advantage of early mail-in or phone in VISA or MasterCard payment. Of course, checks and cash are also welcome.
