Entrance Requirements
Ordinarily you should have a baccalaureate degree, a 2.5 grade-point average for undergraduate work and a 3.0 for postgraduate work (on a 4-point system), satisfactory academic standing at the last institution attended and satisfactory GRE or GMAT scores. Department GPA requirements may be more stringent.

Transcripts and Test Scores
Have the registrar of each institution you attended send an official transcript of your record and your admission test scores to the Office of Admissions. The application is not processed until all credentials are received. You are responsible for the proper transmission of these records. A separate transcript is required from each university attended, even though the work may be shown on another transcript, whether or not credit was earned or desired. If you are currently enrolled, provisional admission may be granted pending arrival of records for this work only. All other materials must be received.
All applicants are required to submit admission test scores. The General Test scores of the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) are required for all programs except Biology, which requires both the General Test and the Subject Test scores.
The M.A. Arts Administration, M.S. Hospitality and Tourism Management, and M.S. Health Care Management programs will accept either the GRE (General Test) or the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT). Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Accounting only accept GMAT. M.P.A. program will accept only the GRE.

Non-Degree Students
If you hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and you are not pursuing another graduate or undergraduate degree, you may apply as a non-degree student in the Graduate School. Admission test scores are not required. however, we require an official degree transcript. Some graduate-level courses and all 6000-level business courses are closed to non-degree students. Please consult the University Catalog for other restrictions.
