If you are a freshman or transfer applicant who has completed less than 18 semester hours of college coursework, you must take the ACT (American College Test) and have your scores sent to UNO (college code 1591). National ACT tests are administered in October, December, February, April, and June each year at regular ACT testing centers.
The SAT I (Scholastic Aptitude Test, UNO college code 6379) may be used in place of the ACT. Test dates are in October, November, December, January, April, May, and June.
Contact UNO Testing Services at (504)-280-TEST (8378) for additional ACT test dates or for special accommodations testing, both offered on the UNO campus. We also strongly recommend that you take the optional ACT Writing Test.
