Hurricane Safety Plan

The Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico hurricane season extends from June 1 to November 30. To ensure the safety of UNO students, faculty, and staff, the University of New Orleans has developed an extensive emergency plan, which is recommended as general guidelines for students, faculty, and staff, in the event of a tropical storm and/or hurricane. The university's primary concern is the safety, health, and well being of UNO community members. All decisions reflect this ethic.
