Impact of Your Gift

Your generosity helps tomorrow's leaders.

Your gift supports the University’s mission to recruit talented students and invest in their education. Through scholarships, undergraduate research opportunities, student programming and graduate and professional fellowships, we are able to create a unique learning environment that equips our students to become leaders in their community.

In many cases, your gift helps bring them here; in all cases, your generosity helps them thrive.

What does it mean to be a professor at UNO?

"To be a UNO professor encompasses two sets of ideas. First, it means I get to interact with students ... every time I walk into a classroom, they teach me something! Second, I have the ability to focus on learning new things to bring into my lectures through my research ... Engaging in the research alerts me to new trends in business and enhances my teaching skills."

Dinah Payne Dinah Payne,
Professor of Management

Supporting the best professors and researchers.

UNO relies on an extraordinary faculty to educate and prepare our student body, create ground-breaking research, and bring the excitement of discovery into the classroom. It is crucial to invest in our faculty through endowed professorships, faculty research funds, and the latest technology and equipment that help attract and retain faculty who are stars in their fields and inspiring in the classroom.
